Data Center Deployment Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing client base, the remote W2 Contract Data Center Deployment Engineer will lead the design and architecture of large-scale data center networks, focusing on building resilient and automated network platforms for mission-critical environments over a duration of 6+ months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect large-scale data center and backbone network infrastructure
- Lead the deployment of modern spine-leaf architectures using EVPN/VXLAN
- Develop network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, and CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in Network Architecture, Engineering, and Reliability Engineering
- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN/VXLAN
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, and network automation tools
- Experience in multi-vendor network environments including Cisco, Juniper, and Arista
- Proven ability to design and operate highly available production networks at scale
