Data Center Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Design Engineer to support the design and documentation of mission-critical data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans, equipment layouts, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with engineering teams for technical coordination and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Assist in project support through design reviews, responding to RFIs, and maintaining design records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting/Design, or related field (Associate degree with strong experience accepted)
• 3+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical design
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute Tier Levels and TIA-942
