Data Center Due Diligence Manager

Job Summary

Leading pre-lease technical due diligence for a confidential hyperscale data center client, the full-time Associate Director Pre-Lease Due Diligence Program Manager will manage site assessments, cost and schedule reviews, and risk management while working remotely or from San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence on candidate sites, assessing power, land, utilities, and environmental constraints
• Direct the review of developer budgets and schedules, ensuring accurate analysis and identifying risks
• Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the deal cycle, summarizing findings and supporting negotiations

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data center development or mission critical facilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and make quick judgment calls
• Strong understanding of program and risk management methods and best practices
• Technical skills to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in MS Suite and Google Workspace, with the ability to develop tracking tools
