Data Center Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the COE Engineer - II will interface with operations and third-party data center vendors to perform site surveys, input data into Verizon tools, and manage updates to data related to power and space.

Key responsibilities:

• Interface with operations and third-party data center vendors to conduct site surveys for critical data
• Input data into Verizon tools such as 1PSC, Space Planner, and CND
• Perform Move/Add/Change/Delete updates to data as required

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in data center space, power, and cabling
• Proficiency in CAD and Visio
• Strong data entry skills
• CDCP - Certified Data Center Professional certification
