Data Center Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hosts and services, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Perform network maintenance and upgrades, troubleshooting issues and outages as they arise
• Manage incidents and collaborate with ISPs and vendors to resolve network-related problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Full understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, firewalls, and DNS
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and hardware/software issues
• Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies
• Understanding of server hardware technologies related to content delivery performance
