Data Center Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Data Center Engineer will focus on the strategic planning and technical development of large-scale water and wastewater utility infrastructure for high-capacity data center projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assist in the technical development of site due diligence and campus planning studies
• Develop water planning estimates and total cost of ownership calculations
• Analyze utility usage data and present optimization recommendations to leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience, including 4+ years in planning, design, or construction of utility projects
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
• Knowledge of large-scale, complex data center infrastructure
• Understanding of utility treatment and distribution systems
