Data Center Engineer III

Job Summary

To support the design and infrastructure of data center collocations, the full-time salaried Data Center Engineer III will create technical documentation, manage project timelines, and provide support for network engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and support large-scale production and corporate networks in data centers and Point of Presence (POP) sites
• Create detailed installation procedures, drawings, and statements of work for new POP builds
• Manage asset documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Understanding of data center practices, including cable routing and power usage calculations
• Familiarity with creating As-Built drawings and knowledge of fiber-optic technology
• Experience in creating statements of work for new POP builds
• Ability to work within a global team in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
