Data Center Executive

Job Summary

Leading the establishment of a new data center business unit, the full-time Chief Executive, Data Center Operator will oversee commercial strategy, development, construction, and operations, ensuring the successful launch and scalability of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and structure data center development opportunities, including site selection and power procurement strategy
• Oversee the design and construction of data center facilities, ensuring critical infrastructure is in place
• Build and manage relationships with hyperscalers, colocation tenants, and enterprise compute customers

Required qualifications

• Senior commercial or operational executive with experience in data center development, construction, or operations
• Proven ability to originate and close complex infrastructure transactions
• Understanding of data center mechanical, electrical, and networking infrastructure
• Familiarity with compute demand drivers, including AI/ML workloads and cloud infrastructure
• Experience in high-growth environments with private equity or institutional backing
