Data Center Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer II to work remotely in the Seattle Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create layouts for data center infrastructure, including various components such as cabinets and cabling
• Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency
• Monitor and optimize performance of infrastructure components to meet SLAs and business requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of data center architecture and design requirements for network, compute, and storage
• Proven experience in a large-scale data center or telecommunications environment
• Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP) are a plus
