Data Center Instructional Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting learners in a contract role, the part-time Data Center Instructional Assistant will assist the Technical Instructor in delivering a structured curriculum focused on data center skills while facilitating remote classroom activities and providing individualized support to students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Instructor with curriculum delivery and classroom facilitation
• Monitor learner engagement, track attendance, and provide one-on-one tutoring as needed
• Prepare lab tools and resources, and lead study groups based on learner performance

Required qualifications

• Graduate of a Per Scholas training program in IT Support, Infrastructure, or Datacenter tracks (preferred)
• Successfully obtained relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+
• Strong foundational understanding of networking fundamentals, PC hardware architecture, and operating systems
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools like Salesforce and Zoom
• Ability to teach and support in a highly interactive, hands-on training environment
