Data Center Lead Technician

Job Summary

Leading a team of technicians, the full-time Union Data Center Lead Technician will be responsible for the installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a remote Data Center environment while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure within the Data Center
• Provide structured feedback on project progress and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve obstacles
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and ensure high-quality workmanship in compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications:

• Experience leading a crew of technicians and performing job walks
• Knowledge of telecom hand tools and low voltage cable installation
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation
• Familiarity with copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting
• Clear understanding of job safety requirements and project close-out processes
