Data Center Mechanical Analyst

Job Summary

Joining a high-impact team, the remote Data Center Mechanical Data Analyst will analyze telemetry data, investigate incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze telemetry data daily to detect anomalies, trends, and potential risks in critical mechanical systems
• Review and investigate overnight incidents and alerts, prioritizing based on urgency and impact
• Validate and interpret data signals using Kusto (KQL) and visualization tools such as Grafana or Power BI

Required qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' hands-on experience in data analysis, operations, or incident review within data center or critical environments
• Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data querying and signal validation
• Proven experience building dashboards and extracting insights using Grafana or Power BI
• Deep understanding of mechanical systems (cooling, HVAC, infrastructure) in high-availability environments
• Strong communication skills for real-time updates and cross-functional teamwork
