Data Center Modeling Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Network Modeling Technician III.

Key Responsibilities

• Document, edit, and manage Inside Plant (ISP) fiber assets and connectivity within data centers and Points-of-Presence (POPs)
• Review engineering diagrams and vendor documentation to translate physical information into accurate digital records
• Assist in ensuring data accuracy and logical structure of the data center model, performing data checks and resolving discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge or interest in telecommunications construction techniques, networking principles, or fiber optic technology
• Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and meticulous when working with data
• Proficiency with Google suite, especially Sheets, and ability to learn new software platforms quickly
• Understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining clear process documentation
• Exposure to specialized fiber network management software is desirable
