Data Center Permitting Manager

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional initiatives, the full-time Data Center Permitting Manager will develop permitting strategies and drive alignment with stakeholders to minimize risks and expedite permitting durations for data center construction projects, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop comprehensive permitting strategies
• Partner with site selection and engineering teams to identify permitting requirements and develop risk mitigation plans
• Provide regular updates on permitting progress to executive management and stay informed on changes to laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in program or project management
• 5 years of experience supporting legal, regulatory compliance, and permitting for construction projects
• Experience with the permitting process and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Strong familiarity with the data center industry
