Data Center Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the daily operations of the data center, the full-time on-site Data Center Technician will set up and configure server hardware, manage operating systems, and ensure efficient infrastructure performance in Buffalo, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy physical server hardware according to customer specifications
• Install and manage various operating systems, including Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
• Complete technical service requests with a focus on speed, accuracy, and documentation

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with computer hardware, including server builds and installations
• Confident in installing and configuring various operating systems
• Familiarity with data center workflows and equipment management
• Experience working with SuperMicro hardware and related components
• Strong troubleshooting skills in both onsite and remote environments
