Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Union Data Center Technician, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a remote Data Center environment while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in the Data Center
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to stakeholders and collaborate to remove project obstacles
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and exhibit quality workmanship on all tasks

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools and wiring schemes
• Understanding of job safety requirements and customer service principles
• Experience with low voltage cable installation, including copper and fiber cabling
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and building documentation
• Familiarity with performing field terminations and labeling of network equipment
