Data Center Technician

Job Summary

Supporting daily operations in a fast-paced technical environment, the full-time Data Center Technician will set up and configure server hardware, manage operating systems, and complete technical service requests while working onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy physical server hardware according to customer specifications
• Install and manage various operating systems, including Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
• Maintain system inventory and configuration records, ensuring the data center operates efficiently and safely

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with computer hardware, including server builds and installations
• Proficient in installing and configuring various operating systems
• Familiarity with data center workflows, including racking equipment and managing cabling
• Experience with SuperMicro hardware and related components
• Strong troubleshooting skills for onsite and remote support
