Data Center Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the installation and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments, the full-time Data Center Technician will execute rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling installations, and equipment provisioning both onsite and remotely in Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage equipment according to engineering designs
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling while ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Perform equipment provisioning, testing, and maintenance activities, including moves, adds, changes, and disconnects (MACD)

Required qualifications

• High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required
• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure support
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, networking equipment, and power distribution systems
• Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices and installation standards
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, and testing activities with minimal supervision
