Job Summary
Supporting the installation and maintenance of infrastructure in data center environments, the full-time Data Center Technician will independently execute rack-and-stack activities, structured cabling installations, and equipment provisioning while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, with a remote work option available within Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage equipment according to engineering designs
- Install and manage copper and fiber cabling, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to quality standards
- Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installations, and basic testing activities, maintaining accurate installation records
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required
- 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure support
- Working knowledge of data center hardware, networking equipment, and power distribution systems
- Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices and installation standards
- Experience performing rack-and-stack and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision
