Job Summary
Supporting the installation and maintenance of equipment within data center environments, the full-time Associate Data Center Technician will perform hands-on tasks such as equipment staging, cabling, and documentation, with opportunities for remote work within Texas.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive and stage equipment, consumables, and cabling while performing inventory checks
- Assist with rack positioning, installation of rack accessories, and cable management under senior guidance
- Execute low-risk moves, adds, changes, and disconnects (MACD activities) while following established safety and quality standards
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience preferred
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, telecommunications equipment, and data center infrastructure
- Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling concepts is an asset
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools and follow detailed work instructions
- Prior exposure to data centers or technical training programs is beneficial but not required
