Data Center Technician II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Center Technician II.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, moving, and decommissioning hardware in the Data Center
• Confirm and label devices, racks, and cables
• Work under supervision and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and policies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent education
• Ability to respond to On-Call requests within 1 hour
• Experience with CAT5e and CAT6 copper cable and fiber optics
• Understanding of Data Center best practices and infrastructure
• Ability to operate material handling equipment if certified
