Data Center Thermal Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of thermal management products for data center applications, the full-time Data Center Thermal Solutions Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative cooling solutions while managing multiple projects from concept to production, with flexibility for remote work after initial training and quarterly on-site visits.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop thermal management products, including cold plates and heat exchangers, from concept to production
• Perform thermal and fluid simulations to optimize product performance and reliability
• Conduct hands-on prototyping, testing, and validation of thermal systems under real-world conditions

Required qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree
• 3+ years of experience in thermal systems product development, preferably in electronics or data center cooling
• Strong background in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
• Experience with CFD tools such as Ansys Fluent or Autodesk CFD
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
