Data Centre Design Manager

Job Summary

Data Centre Design Manager is a full-time position responsible for leading the design and delivery of data centre projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of data centre projects across RIBA Stages 1-4
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring integrated and technically robust deliverables
• Act as technical authority, reviewing design documentation for compliance with standards and client expectations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in data centre design and engineering
• Strong understanding of critical systems (UPS, cooling, fire suppression, etc.)
• Degree/HNC in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent)
• Commercial awareness and experience with construction/design contracts
• Familiarity with standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA-942
