Data Conversion Lead

Job Summary

Leading data migration activities for a large-scale Epic electronic health record implementation, the contract Data Conversion Lead will manage the overall strategy, execution, and governance of data conversion efforts while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall data conversion strategy, planning, execution, and governance for Epic implementation projects
• Manage the extraction, mapping, transformation, validation, and loading of data from multiple legacy systems into the Epic environment
• Coordinate conversion activities across technical teams, application analysts, interface developers, vendors, and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of healthcare IT, EHR implementation, or data conversion experience
• Proven experience leading data conversion efforts for at least one Epic implementation completed within the past 24 months
• Extensive experience working with multiple legacy data sources and complex healthcare datasets
• Strong understanding of Epic data conversion methodologies and implementation lifecycles
