Data Conversion Lead

Job Summary

Leading the data conversion strategy for a Workday implementation, the contract Data Conversion Lead will manage data migration from legacy HR systems, ensuring accurate extraction, cleansing, and loading of data while collaborating with client teams and overseeing multiple testing cycles onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the data conversion workstream, including strategy and timing of data loads
• Partner with client IT and HR teams to extract data, resolve quality issues, and prepare data in required formats
• Lead data mapping efforts, aligning legacy fields with Workday data fields and overseeing multiple conversion cycles

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data migration or integrations for HRIS implementations, with at least 3 years in Workday data conversion
• Strong knowledge of Workday data architecture and tools (EIB, iLoads, CSV templates)
• Experience mapping complex HR data from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle) into Workday
• Proven project management and coordination skills, including managing timelines and small teams
• Ability to run and interpret reports or queries (Workday, Excel, Access, SQL) to resolve discrepancies
