Data Conversion Lead
Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end data conversion effort for a large-scale Child Welfare Information System modernization initiative, the remote Data Conversion Lead will manage enterprise-scale data migration activities, ensuring legacy data is accurately migrated, validated, and reconciled for production use.
Key responsibilities
- Drive source-to-target mapping, data transformation logic, and conversion requirements in collaboration with technical and business teams
- Coordinate extraction, loading, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution across multiple teams and workstreams
- Lead multiple mock conversions and test cycles to ensure successful go-live readiness
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale data conversion or migration initiatives
- Experience in the child welfare domain, particularly with CWIS/CCWIS or similar systems
- Demonstrated ownership of data conversion activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Strong expertise in extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Proven ability to resolve complex data-quality issues with cross-functional stakeholders
