Data Conversion Lead
Job Summary
Leading the end-to-end data conversion effort for a large-scale Child Welfare Information System modernization initiative, the remote Data Conversion Lead will partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure legacy data is accurately migrated, validated, and ready for production use.
Key responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-scale data conversion and migration activities from strategy through production execution
- Drive source-to-target mapping, data transformation logic, and conversion requirements in collaboration with teams
- Coordinate extraction, loading, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution across multiple workstreams
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in leading enterprise-scale data conversion or migration initiatives
- Child welfare domain experience, including support of a CWIS/CCWIS or similar system
- Demonstrated ownership of data conversion activities across the full project lifecycle
- Expertise in extraction, transformation, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Proven ability to lead multiple conversion cycles and resolve complex data-quality issues
