Data Cyber Security Principal Engineer I

Job Summary

A company in the Information Technology industry is looking for a Principal Engineer I in Data & Cyber Security.

Position Responsibilities

• Serve as a product owner for up to 3 cybersecurity capabilities, managing all aspect of the product life cycle
• Create technical/functional design documents, build, maintain and implement cybersecurity solutions and ensure operational readiness (plan to run)
• Conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies to strengthen controls

Required Qualifications, Training and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems
• Eight (8) or more years of combined IT and security work experience
• Experience in the areas of at least two (2) of the following areas: OT/IoT Security, Deception Technologies, Security Information and Event Management and Network Security
• Requires security certification (i.e., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), or equivalent
• Working knowledge of security system used to detect and protect from OT/IoT threats
