Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Data Editor, the full-time remote position will manage the acquisition, evaluation, curation, and validation of scientific datasets for Wiley's databases and products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and alignment with customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Curate, validate, and maintain high-quality scientific data and metadata for Wiley products
• Assess scientific content in the context of customer workflows and product requirements
• Develop editorial plans and identify content priorities that support customer needs and business objectives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of spectroscopy and analytical chemistry through coursework or research
• Experience working with scientific data, including data analysis and validation
• Familiarity with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools for scientific data analysis
• Understanding of Agile project delivery practices through academic or professional experience
