Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer in Lake Forest, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Big Data solutions on a distributed cluster
Develop framework for batch data ingestion and build integrated analytical datasets
Improve performance of ETL projects and develop big data solutions using various tools

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
7 years of related experience
Prior experience in designing and implementing Big Data solutions
Proficiency in Cloudera Data Platform, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, HBase, Spark, CA7, Teradata, Informatica, Tableau, Python, SQL, and Bash Scripting
Ability to mentor junior team members on advanced SQL and modern Data Engineering design principles
