Data Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with analytics and data science teams, the remote Sr. Data Engineer I will design and develop efficient data pipelines, ensuring robust data infrastructure and enabling insightful data products and analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data, APIs, and pipelines for the data platform
• Engineer scalable and efficient data pipelines while building analysis-ready datasets
• Collaborate with engineering and science teams to identify continuous improvements and troubleshoot integration issues

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem of tools and libraries
• Experience with big data and cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ORMs
• Comfortable working with UNIX-based systems and command line interfaces
• Ability to translate user needs into actionable technical tasks
