Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the organization's data analytics and business intelligence needs, the full-time Data Engineer will build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines for healthcare datasets while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare datasets including claims, eligibility, and clinical data
• Support the development of data models and transformations aligned with healthcare standards
• Collaborate with analysts and business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical tasks

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data integration, preferably in healthcare
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Basic to intermediate experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar ETL tools
• Familiarity with healthcare data types such as claims and EHR data
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
