Data Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced Data Engineers will find a fully remote opportunity focused on designing and implementing scalable data solutions, optimizing data flow, and deploying robust data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy data platforms, including data lakehouses and warehouses, while automating operations with tools like Azure DevOps and Terraform
• Implement and optimize advanced ETL/ELT data pipelines and orchestrate complex data jobs using Databricks notebooks and dbt
• Leverage cloud offerings to create performant application solutions and ensure compliance with data security and governance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript/Java as a plus
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT implementation and data modeling for data warehouses/lakehouses
• Understanding of the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers)
• Experience with advanced DevOps, CI/CD, and strong Linux system administration skills
• Expertise in 2-3 major cloud and data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks)
