Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer in either Remote or New York City, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the foundational data layer (data lake) for analytics and product functions
Build efficient data models to support advanced analytics and business insights
Maintain data tooling, platforms, and dashboards to provide high-quality insights

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of Data Engineering experience on large-scale data and cloud platforms
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data ETL tools, along with database solutions like AWS Redshift and Aurora
Experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools, and familiarity with data streaming technologies
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment and understand business needs
