Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop analysis automation tools in collaboration with analysts and senior staff
Create processing pipelines for remote sensing and geospatial data streams in Google Cloud
Perform exploratory data analysis, develop Python-based programs for data processing, and optimize application performance

Required Qualifications:

BS degree in Computer Science or STEM field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Engineering role
Ability to process real-world data sources and build scalable data processing pipelines in Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of geospatial data processing tools, Python packages, and spatial databases
Desirable knowledge of Automatic Identification System (AIS) marine traffic data
