Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Engineer - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts and users to prioritize and understand user requirements
- Lead technical discussions to shape functional designs and specifications
- Act as a liaison between business users and the EDW development team, translating business needs into technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent IT certifications
- 5+ years in healthcare IT with knowledge of US healthcare protocols (CPT, ICD-9/10, HIPAA)
- 10+ years of database development experience on both on-premise and cloud platforms (MS SQL Server, Azure Synapse preferred)
- 5+ years in designing and supporting enterprise data warehouses
- Advanced SQL and Python skills for writing stored procedures and optimizing query performance
