Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines for ML and AI products in the health insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data systems to support ML/AI models while ensuring healthcare data security and compliance
• Build tools to extract, validate, and process diverse healthcare data sources
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare large, complex health data sets for modeling

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field; 4+ years of relevant experience
• Strong professional experience with Python, SQL, and Airflow
• Experience working with healthcare or medical data is a plus
• Desire and ability to learn new tools and technologies (e.g., Redshift, Tableau, AWS Lambda)
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS EC2) and Linux, including shell scripting
