Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their actuarial team and lead various data-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage data engineering projects within the actuarial team
• Develop and maintain a central CAT/Property Data Hub for reporting, analytics, and visualizations
• Integrate and centralize data from various source systems and automate ETL processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's degree
• Strong/Advanced SQL skills, including SSMS, SSIS, and ETL processes
• Extensive experience in data analysis and proficiency in data visualization tools, especially Power BI
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is highly desirable
