Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer III to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and Apache Airflow
• Automate complex data workflows and manage real-time data ingestion using Apache Kafka
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and support Agile delivery activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• Five (5) plus years of experience in data engineering with expertise in ETL/ELT and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Glue, S3, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, and DMS
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Experience orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow
