Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to develop and maintain data models and pipelines for real-time customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production SQL data models using dbt
• Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines for personalization and predictive models
• Support customer-facing teams by showcasing the capabilities of Snowplow data

Required Qualifications

• Mastery of SQL, including manipulation of large datasets and performance tuning
• Experience with batch and streaming data processing, particularly using tools like Benthos
• Familiarity with feature engineering and management tools such as Feast
• Extensive experience using Python for data model generation
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with data in cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
