Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and enforce best practices for data ingestion, cataloging, and lineage across cloud infrastructure
Develop and maintain real-time processing applications using Kafka or similar technologies
Collaborate with development and analytics teams to understand and fulfill data requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
3+ years of programming experience with Java or Python
Experience with cloud-based data warehouse technologies, especially Snowflake
Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing data pipeline architectures based on Kafka
