Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to enhance and maintain analytical environments supporting reporting requirements and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solutions using database technologies including Snowflake, Python, ETL pipelines, and cloud services
• Design and develop solutions to support reporting and analytic needs while maintaining existing systems
• Analyze business requirements and produce specifications for reporting and analytical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing data warehouse solutions, preferably in the insurance industry
• Hands-on experience with ETL technologies such as Informatica and AWS Glue
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with stored procedures
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in technical system design or related experience
• Experience with cloud-based database technologies like Snowflake and a strong understanding of data warehouse best practices
