Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop data conversion programs using Java and related technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams to map client's legacy source data
• Validate data conversions to ensure they meet customer expectations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience in professional services, client implementation, and/or data migrations
• Working knowledge of multiple system/database platforms (MSSQL, Oracle, AS400, Windows) is a plus
• Knowledge of generalized business practices, accounting, financial, and payroll reports is a plus
• Proficiency in programming using Java, Python, SQL, and related technologies
