Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full data engineering development life cycle including requirements analysis, technical specification, coding, deployment planning, and production support
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that meet reliability, security, and performance standards
• Partner with analytics, data science, and business teams to ingest data and evolve data models for BI dashboards and advanced analytics

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering or a closely related field, with at least 5 years in delivering production-grade pipelines and data platforms
• Proven ability to design, build, and operate high volume ELT/ETL pipelines
• Mastery of SQL, particularly with Snowflake SQL and analytics functions
• Extensive hands-on experience designing schemas and maintaining data warehouses/marts on Snowflake or similar platforms
• Experience implementing frameworks for data quality and governance
