Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design and build the foundation for data collection, storage, querying, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the architecture for the data stack, from ingestion to analytics and visualization
• Build reliable, secure pipelines to extract and transform data from production systems
• Manage data infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance with security requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend engineering with a strong data focus
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture, including warehouses, pipelines, and ETL/ELT frameworks
• Strong programming experience, ideally in Go or Python, and familiarity with SQL and schema design
• Experience operating within AWS and modern orchestration frameworks
• Proven ability to work with production-scale data systems, focusing on security and reliability
