Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer 2 to centralize access and curation of critical security data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze key metrics and data sources to identify trends in security issues and recommend improvements
• Provide technical insight on incident analysis and threat mitigation while collaborating with software development teams
• Manage critical stakeholder communications during security incidents and ensure operational rigor in cyber security operations

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience
• 1+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or Software Engineer role focused on cloud-based big data processing
• Ability to meet specific security screening requirements upon hire and periodically thereafter
• Experience in data engineering, with a focus on data source access and availability management
• Hands-on knowledge of security concepts including cyber-attacks and incident management
