Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team on a part-time contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end migration of datasets from InterSystems (Cach /IRIS) to Snowflake and Databricks
Design, build, optimize, and maintain high-performance ETL pipelines for large datasets
Implement PHI de-identification and masking strategies in compliance with HIPAA

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer focused on cloud data solutions
Hands-on expertise with InterSystems (Cach /IRIS) data extraction and transformations
Proficiency in building large-scale ETL pipelines supporting over 5 million records
Strong experience with Snowflake and Databricks for data processing
Solid understanding of PHI de-identification and healthcare data workflows
