Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer II, responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions for business applications and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and communicate conceptual, logical, and physical data models for systems
• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL queries and database code
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using tools such as SSIS or DataStage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering or database development
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Oracle, including performance tuning
• Experience developing ETL processes using SSIS, DataStage, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for systems
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-vendor, offshore delivery model
