Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design and optimize data architecture and pipelines while ensuring data quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize database architecture, data models, and schemas, and implement data pipelines for large-scale processing
• Develop and manage data solutions on PaaS and cloud ecosystems while ensuring scalability and security
• Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and big data platforms
• Experience with SQL/Postgres/MySQL and Azure cloud platform
• Expertise in Big Data technologies (PySpark/Scala Spark, Hive/Hadoop/NoSQL) and data warehousing
• Solid proficiency in Python and Scala, with knowledge of data security and compliance standards
