Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SPAM Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, parameterize, and respond to spam, phishing, malware, and email fraud attacks
• Analyze email messages and develop new detection methods for novel threats
• Collaborate with teams to resolve complex customer issues and contribute to tool development for threat analysis

Required Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in an IT-related subject or equivalent technical experience
• Familiarity with Linux command line and tools for text file manipulation
• Good knowledge of regular expressions and email delivery processes, including SMTP
• Experience in a data science role is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl is an advantage
